Painful Pelvic Conditions
If gyn exams, using tampons, and/or pain with sex is painful… or if you have endometriosis, adenomyosis, extreme pain during your menstrual cycle… there are manual and therapeutic techniques we can do to resolve or manage your symptoms.
Back, Hip and TMJ pain
The back and hip are “noisy neighbors” to the pelvic floor… and there is actually a connection between the pelvic floor and TMJ! If you’re also experiencing pain in these areas, it could be affecting your pelvic floor and vice versa.
Pregnancy

Postpartum
If you’ve had a vaginal birth or cesarean birth, pelvic physical therapy can address scar tissue, diastasis recti, give you guidance on returning back to exercises & activity. Don’t feel lost after your 6 week postpartum check… we’re here to help you!
Birth Preparation
Want to feel prepared for the big day that baby arrives? Dr. Josephine provides one-on-one birth preparation sessions. Whether you’re having a home birth or hospital birth… a vaginal birth or a planned cesarean… feeling mentally and physically prepared can help with having a smoother delivery.
She’ll go over laboring and pushing positions, how to breathe during contractions and when it’s time to push, teach you how to push efficiently, educate you on things you can do for pain relief, and will utilize various manual therapy techniques to address any restrictions in the uterus, abdomen, and pelvis to allow for baby to descend into and out of the pelvis for delivery. Partners are also welcome to join sessions as well!
